California Dance Ensemble (CDE) is a 501(c)3 non-profit performance group dedicated to promoting the positive benefits of dance in the community while providing a professional training experience for the serious ballet student. Your tax-deductible donation allows us to continue this mission.
CDE is affiliated with California Dance Academy (CDA) in the San Fernando Valley, a nationally-recognized dance studio offering ballet, pointe, partnering, contemporary, jazz, tap and hip hop classes for 16 years. CDA students have been accepted and offered scholarships to some of the most prestigious schools in the country, such as School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, Joffrey Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet, and several have begun their professional careers. In 2018, three students made their professional debuts at Los Angeles Ballet, Colorado Ballet, and Ballet West. Since then, others have been hired by Texas Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, multiple high-level University dance programs, as well as international finishing programs.
